Misti Easter became a Mortgage Loan Originator in 2011 after working in the title and closing industry for seven years. Misti’s background in the title industry gave her a firm foundation to enter into the mortgage industry with extensive knowledge of the required documentation involved in obtaining a mortgage. In the past six years, Misti has built a solid and steady referral base through word of mouth from many happy borrowers and REALTORs and she is always seeking to add more satisfied clients to her growing list!
Misti is a hands-on loan officer. When Misti first got into the real estate business, a fellow loan originator told her that she should never make money or commission the ultimate goal but should always put the needs of her clients first and success would follow – Misti has made it a point to live by this philosophy. Misti grew up in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama but now considers Cullman her hometown since she has lived and worked in Cullman since 1997. Misti and her husband, Jeremy, now reside in the Fairview community where they are surrounded by the beautiful, rural scenery Cullman County is known for. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with Jeremy and their 4 rescued fur babies (2 dogs, Charley & Stanley and 2 cats, Lilly Bob & Bootsies). She also enjoys going “antiquing” with her girlfriends – she has a knack for finding unique “hole-in-the-wall” places to eat when hanging out with the girls! Misti loves art, music, books, podcasts – ask her for suggestions any time and she’ll be happy to fill you in on all of her favorites! Misti has also fought and won the battle against breast cancer (diagnosed in 2011) and loves helping other women through their breast cancer journeys.
